November Moth agg (Epirrita dilutata agg)
Three species of Epirrita species, virtually indistinguishable on wing markings - November Moth, Pale November Moth and Autumnal moth. They can only reliably be identified by inspecting the underside of the eighth abdominal segment of the male. Checking of samples has found that all three species are present in North Antrim - see images below.
