Buff-tip (Phalera bucephala)
Buff-tip (Phalera bucephala)

Widespread and common, but still an amazing moth with it's twig like camouflage. Seen from late May to early August as an adult.

Buff-tip CAT

The Buff-tip is not particularly colourful, but it's intricate markings which mimic broken twigs is amazing camouflage.

Location: North Antrim
